We begin the march to Mount Sinai. This is where the Israelites will go and worship the Lord. What a journey this will be.
Exodus 15. We start with the Song to Yahweh.
- Verse 1-21 are the song Moses and the Israelites sing to the Lord. What verses stand out to you? Is there something that really ministers to you or you learned for the first time in them?
- What do you learn about God in these verses?
Exodus 15:22-27
- Here we start to see the Israelites real attitude come out. In verse 24 what are the people doing?
- Write out verse 25-26
Exodus 16 Begins showing the provision of God while they were in the wilderness.
- Exodus 15:4, 13 and 25 show how he will provide. What do those verses say?
- Read John 6:47-51 and list any key information you see here.
- Exodus 16:2 what is going on? Who is doing this?
- Write out verse 3. How many times have you thought about your time in slavery like this?
- Verse 4 God tells Moses a plan. Why did he have this plan?
- Write out verse 7
- Write out verse 13 & 18
- How quickly did the Israelites not listen to God’s commands?
- As we continue on what do we learn is important to keep – besides God’s instructions and commandments?
- Write out verse 30
- How long did the Israelites eat Manna? What does it say made them stop?
Where do you see God providing for you supernaturally? Have you been obedient to His instructions and commandments regarding this provision? What is God calling you to do today that is out of your comfort zone, requiring you to trust Him more?
Today, add some time to your time of silence. Write down anything the Lord is showing you in this time. Have you learned to hear His voice yet? If not, if you still feel like you are getting nothing but silence, spend a moment asking the Lord to speak, and let you hear His voice.

Something that really stood out to me here was how the Israelites saw the power of God but were often quick to complain and forget about the provision they saw. They always complained how it was better in bondage than to live in freedom where there were some minor inconveniences.
May our hearts never be quick to forget the provisions the Lord has provided and the works and miracles He has done in our lives. When our attitudes become critical and lean towards complaining it would be in our best interest to begin looking at all the places the Lord has done good in our lives. Write out a song like they sang, honoring God for the things He has done in our lives.

Where do you see God providing for you supernaturally? As promised, God is growing his own character-fruit (Galatians 5: 22-23) in me as I abide in Jesus like a branch abides in the vine in order to grow fruit (John 15: 1-5).
Have you been obedient to His instructions and commandments regarding this provision? I practice putting his Word into action, abiding in him, and asking his help when needed, which is a lot.
What is God calling you to do today that is out of your comfort zone, requiring you to trust Him more? I am learning to live in the present moment, and not in the future.
