Note: This pattern was given to Moses during his forty days on the mountain. Was there something that really stood out to you about this tabernacle. There are great books to read about what each piece symbolized. It is a beautiful picture of our worship to God. (**ideas coming for future study). What is God showing you about Himself in this text today? How can you apply this to your life?
Today spend some time outside in nature, talking to the Lord. Whether that be in your yard, out for a drive, or walking in a park just get out and enjoy the outdoors for 15-20 minutes at the least. Remember what God has done and just worship Him in this space.

The thing that really stood out to me was how God is in the detail. So often we say that is just a small detail, it doesn’t really matter, or maybe even we don’t think it matters to God because in the big picture it is so minor. But He was so specific on the detail of the Tabernacle that we can always assume that He does care about the details. If you are going to God for something, it is okay to be specific about the details, He may not answer the way you want, but He does care about them. He wants to hear from you how specific you want things, and if it fits within His plan for you, well He would be more than joyful to give you what you want. I love knowing how much God loves the details – we saw this in the creation account as well. God has always cared about every minute detail.

There was a great study about this once at our church. I believe it was by Beth Moore. I remember drawing out the Ark. I’ve always loved how each little part has such intricate detail. This is how He made us as well. He loves each tiny detail.

The Veil: When Jesus Christ died on the cross for ALL our sins (yesterdays, todays and tomorrows) the curtain or veil separating the most holy place in the temple was torn in two from top to bottom by God himself.
Matthew 27: 50-51a
50 “Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. 51 At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.”
This makes me gratefully cry every time I remember.
Because of Jesus, we can boldly come to God with our every need:
Hebrews 4: 14-16 Christ Is Our High Priest
14 “So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Thank you, Jesus!!!!!!!! Love and prayers,,,,
