As we look into today’s text we will see Israel’s lapse into idolatry, building of the golden calf, causes the delay of the building of the tabernacle. We will learn why a temporary substitute is provided in the form of a tent, without the camp.

There is so much you can learn about God and about humanity in these verses. Think about one new thing you learned. How can you apply that lesson to your life? What is God calling you into? Is He asking for a deeper relationship that you say “I won’t go anywhere if you are not with me?” or is He asking you “to walk into the promised land, trusting Him to guide you?”

Sit with this thought today. Take some time in silence waiting on the Lord to answer your deepest question you have right now. Wait on Him to see what He says to you. He wants to speak to you, all you have to do is listen.
