The Lord told the people they would die (see Numbers 14:29) and that their children would go into the land. For all those years they wandered and finally came to the same spot where they had been, Kadesh-barnea.

What have you learned new about God’s character today? What did you learn about the character of people? What did the Lord reveal to you about yourself?
Reflection: Meditation is A form of prayer: It is considered a form of prayer that goes beyond simple vocalization. It’s a way to be with God in silence and stillness, to ponder His nature, and to grow in love and communion with Him.
As you pray through Psalm 5, think about His nature, His character, His love for you and talk to Him about how you can further your communion with Him.

Today I see a warning: do not go against the Lord’s anointed. If you are doing something because your flesh doesn’t feel good, or you had some crazy bout of jealousy – you need to be aware. The Lord takes care of His anointed. He will deal with you if you are trying to take down someone He is /has raised up. Beware of who you are attacking and why you are attacking them.
