Did you learn anything new about the Lord in today’s text? How about with mankind or yourself? What will you walk away with from today’s text?
Reflection: Meditation is also A two-way conversation: It is seen as a process of communing with God, engaging in a “two-way conversation” to better know and love Him.
Today we will take time to pray through Psalm 8. Let this be a start of a conversation. Use the words here to speak to God, but don’t forget to stop and listen to what He is saying to you. He wants to converse with you, not just listen. He may share a scripture with you, put a thought in your mind that would only come from Him. He may put a song on your heart to sing to Him. Or He may whisper some wonder words of encouragement to you. Maybe He doesn’t speak in that moment, but has someone come to you later and share a specific word from Him that only you know is from Him. His speaking to you can look so many different ways. Be open today how He wants to talk to you.
